PEERULINA
Peerulina is part of a larger project reimagining
human waste as a resource
through self-sustaining, replicable fabrication
labs embedded in urban spaces.
This installation challenges societal taboos
and environmental neglect by converting
human waste into valuable biocomposites.
Here, a reactor uses urine as
a nutrient-rich substrate to cultivate spirulina,
which is then harvested and transformed
into bioplastics.
